As a Chanuka ‘gelt’ treat to all of its students, the Lubavitch Educational Center of Miami went all out and treated its growing student body to a concert of epic proportions.
Flying in Benny Friedman and keyboard player Aron Niasoff, together with Eli Naim guitar superstar, the students enjoyed an epic outdoor performance.
2 epic performances took place as the boys department and pre-school opened the day to whirlwind of song and dance. The girls department, high school and older pre-school was treated thereafter and capped off an extraordinary day.
Students were left uplifted as the entire school danced and sang to the many hits of Benny Friedman.
A special treat was sung by Benny for Rabbi and Mrs. Steinberg, teachers in the school who celebrated their wedding anniversary that day, who sang at their wedding 12 years earlier.

This was a inter-department program, that united the entire school that was organized and led by Rabbi Yakov Garfinkel.
Thank you to Mrs. Chanie Schapiro, Chanie Dalfin, Mushka Mann, Devorah Leah Korf and Esther Zucker for rallying the girls concert and bringing it much spirit.
Once again principals Mrs. Chaya Sara Dalfin, Mrs. Shevi Sossonko, and Mrs. Sara Rosenfeld and Mrs. Esther Wilyamowsky worked together in unison to make the event seamless and successful.
Thank you to each department head, to the dean of the Lubavitch Educational Center Rabbi Bentzion Korf for sponsoring the event for the students.

I asked my son, a student at Lec, ” was the concert good?” He answered with a big smile: “no, it wasn’t good, it was great!!!!!”
Rabbi Yakov Garfinkel, you managed to leave your own name out of the article, but you were the one who really pulled this off;) Thank you for your hard work. It was a truly incredible day for LEC and it was wonderful to see how much all the students enjoyed, from the preschool through the high school.

From the first time i heard Benny Friedman in a Darchei Menachem concert, i was sure he would it make it big. Amazing voice and great positive energy
