A barbeque event was held in Crown Heights this week to raise funds for Chabad of Chevron, Israel and its planned new Chabad Center.
The event was hosted by Bais Shmuel Chabad in Crown Heights, led by Rabbi Moshe Pinson.
Participants gathered at the Pinson home, where they heard from Chevron Shliach Rabbi Danny Cohen.
Bais Shmuel Chabad have been dedicated supporters of Chabad of Chevron for many years, which directs many activities, events and programs for IDF soldiers.
Rabbi Mendy Deitsch, Shliach in Chandler, Arizona, Rabbi Dov Drizin, Shliach in Woodcliff Lake, NJ, and Rabbi Shimon Freundlich, Shliach in Beijing, China attended as well, and spoke words of inspiration.
The event raised over $75,000 for Chabad of Chevron’s building fund, which is estimated at $8 million.
