Absolutely beautiful! I am crying and I’m certain that the neshamos of your mother and grandfather are dancing around and beaming with tremendous Nachas! Mazel Tov, May you be blessed with a life filled with health, happiness, Torah and Mitzvos!

Wonderful story, thank you so much for sharing and may Hashem bless you in all things material and spiritual.

The photo with the tefillin and the beautiful smile is magnificent.

And the comments crediting the power of a Jewish woman — in this case TWO Jewish women — brought tears to my eyes.

Surely Moshiach will be here any minute! 🙂

beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!

take the inspiration – come home to the Jewish people. If your mother was a Jew, you are a Jew.
It’s time to come home.

Wow

I read the story. I send you best greetings from Radicondoli (Italy). My mother was born in Koenigsberg (Ostpruessen) in 1921 and fled in Italy in 1939; here she married my father (a good catholic) who loved her for all the life.
She never went back to Germany, she never learnt me German language and she never circumcised me.
She lost all the family and relatives in WW2 and died (Alzheimer disease) in 1982.
I should like to tell to this guy: good luck for your new life.
Mazeltov!

In case overlooked: One who was baptised should immerse in Mikva, in a manner similar to Gerus. Mentioned in Shulchan Oruch and strongly encouraged by the Rebbe (see letter in R’ C Dalfin’s book).

this all comes down to ‘behind every good man there is a special lady”. It is because of your special wife that you have merited to fulfill your mother’s dying wish.
you are a lucky man.

Im in tears!!
