Chabad of the Diamond District in New York City organized a 12-foot public Menorah display for the 8 days of Chanukah.
The menorah was co-sponsored by the Diamond Dealers Association.
Stationed at the entrance of the diamond district at Fifth Avenue and 47th Street, passers-by enjoyed music and dancing at the nightly kindling.
Thousands of menorah kits were distributed on Fifth Avenue by the members of Chabad Midtown’s Kollel.
Chabad of 47th Street is an affiliate of Chabad of Midtown Manhattan and is headed by Rabbi Shmuel Levitin.

Pictured here are some of the people that make Chabad of Midtown work and who are (undoubtedly) a great source of nachas to Rabbi Metzger. Rabbi Shmuly Levitin (Chabad of the Diamond District), Rabbi Asher Webb (Rosh Kollel, head of learning), and Rabbi Levi Shmotkin (ChabadYP Young Professionals).
