Today, Tes Tammuz marks the 5th Yartzeit of Chana bas R’ Aharon Leib, Chana (Raskin) Wolvovsky obm.
Chana was a Kallah and a newlywed when she faced her life’s toughest challenge. Chana will forever be remembered as a Kallah Na’ah Va’Chassuda – a bride of beauty, grace, and modesty.
What better way to preserve Chana’s memory, than by extending her special touch to other Kallahs as they experience this most important moment of their lives?
In Chana’s honor, a luxurious new bridal suite was built and dedicated at the Crown Heights Mikvah.
Designed by Maggie Rogatsky of HC Design Décor, the Kallah room features a state-of-the-art tub, sink vanity, beautiful chandeliers and luxurious fixtures.
The 3 letters of Chana’s Hebrew name are an acronym for the 3 special Mitzvos given to Jewish women: Challah, Family Purity, and Shabbos Candles. In dedicating this bridal suite, we will enable every Kallah embarking on the Mitzvah of Family Purity for the first time in her life, to feel so special doing so. How much more beautiful her Mitzvah will be when she feels so unique and so holy fulfilling it.
How beautiful it will be that every Kallah entering the Chana Wolvovsky Bridal Suite will feel Chana’s special touch of elegance and grace on her wedding day.
The Hayom Yom of Chana’s birthday describes that the role and duty of N’shei U’bnos HaChassdim – the Chassidic wives and daughters – is to stand in the forefront of every activity connected with the strengthening of Yiddishkeit, and specifically those activities connected with the strengthening of Taharas HaMishpacha – Family Purity. What better connection can Chana have to this special Mitzvah.
What better way to preserve Chana’s memory than by strengthening this foundation of Yiddishkeit.
