‘5-Alive’ Launches New Program for Bochurim in Crown Heights

In honor of Chai Elul, there is a special development happening in the Rebbe’s shechuna for bochurim who aren’t currently in Yeshiva. Reb Yoske Levin will be starting a new 5-Alive chassidus group. A unique opportunity weaving learning and teaching chassidus while gaining life skills and confidence in an applicable way.

For those who want to learn more, it is appropriate to say that Yoske has succeeded in presenting chassidus as the cure for all ailments. The Alter Rebbe introduces Tanya placing the responsibility of decoding the light of chassidus on mashpiim who can make the words of chassidus meaningful to those who are searching.

Reb Yoske single-handedly, has, with the Rebbe’s berochos, shown hundreds of young people how to learn chassidus in a way that the words of chassidus become tangible and real. With special direction and inspiration from the Rebbe, Rabbi Yoske began changing lives some fifty years ago. His approach, called 5-alive, based on the Rebbe’s words, is a transformational experience that shifts the perspective of those who join.

In his unique approach, Rabbi Yoske runs customized groups for; mashpiim, fathers and sons, teenagers who are searching for meaning, yeshiva bochurim, mechanchim and more.

On Chai Elul, a new cohort will open for bochurim. The program will be a three-month 5-Alive journey in which participants will gather to learn chassidus in a group, each participant will also teach and share their insights, becoming agents for the 5-Alive method. Every participant becomes an ‘officer’, leading and participating in the learning process, drawing chassidus into their life, in their own words, becoming influencers from the start.

Another facet of the program will include training by Mule Chanin. Mule successfully trained thousands of young men with top-tier hard skills and has been embraced by the 5-Alive method, will be training participants with marketable skills offering them an opportunity to generate income.

Educator Rabbi Levke Kaplan will be joining the team in leading the next group. His approach and experience coaching teens will expand the ability to support and individually coach the Officers.
