Montreal one of the only cities that have a parade every year, rain, shine or even snow.
Another beautiful parade in Montreal coordinated by Chabad activist Rabbi David Cohen of Chabad Lubavitch youth organization in conjunction with the shluchim of Beth chabad Cote S. Luc, Rabbi and Mrs Mendel and Sarah Raskin, Rabbi Tsemach Raskin and Rabbi Levi Naparstek.
Over 4000 attended on a beautiful sunny day with 20 car and truck floats decorated proudly with the Mivtzoyim prepared by the Yeshiva and Zal. The parade was led by the grade 6 Marching Band coordinated by Mr Avi Tansky, Shalom Ber Silberstein and Shmuly Cohen. Mrs Adel Zirkind coordinated the parents’ committee for the marching band.
The Chaya Mushka Seminary helped coordinate all the signs and the balloons.
Snacks were given out with a beautiful program with professional entertainers the Nacho Circus and Fredolini the clown. A petting zoo, pony rides, inflatable games, open barbecue, cotton candy, and freeze pops were enjoyed by all.
