We started with a goal of $118K. We shattered that goal in just 3 hours into the campaign. Clearly the community support is greater than we originally anticipated by leaps and bounds. We are humbled and grateful at the outpouring of love. We are using every single dollar we receive to help CH families in need, and the need is great!
We have new matchers streaming in as we write this, and we are going to reach higher and higher goals today and tomorrow. With the kind and gracious help of the donations that have been received and those that will come in for the next 19 hours, we will bring this vital organization to a new level!

Three groups of generous benefactors: Maimon & Ruth Kirschenbaum, Friends of Bikur Cholim with Zalman & Esther Lebovic, and Friends of Bais Shmuel with Yerachmiel & RL Jacobson have joined together and pledged to quadruple your generous donation for the next 24 hours.
For the last 40 years Bikur Cholim has been helping thousands of families in Crown Heights, providing support to families in medical crisis.
In addition to the hundreds of thousands of dollars that we distribute in financial aid toward medical expenses, our services include: transportation to/from doctor appointments and hospitals; home/hospital visitation & respite services; delivering kosher meals; providing domestic aid during medical crises to help maintain routine and stability in the home; and assisting new mothers with the physical and emotional adjustments to their newborn babies, and much more…
Our volunteer board members work round the clock to help ease the burden for those struggling with illness. This is your chance to participate and help make this community stronger and healthier.

The bikur cholim is really an amazing organization. They do so much in such a quiet way. We should never need their help but if one does, it is so comforting to have them!
