The Yeshiva University Chabad Club completed yet another very successful year this past Thursday evening at the last “Thursday Night Chassidus Program” of the year.
Every Thursday evening students from Yeshiva Oholei Torah in Crown Heights travel to YU to learn Chassidus one on one with fifty YU students. During the last three years, the Chabad Club has seen unprecedented growth, rising from a student club that had remained inactive for several years to the largest club at YU.
At the event, speeches were given by Yeshiva Oholei Torah student, Mendel Marasow, as well as by YU student, Zac Schwartz, who shared stories of his personal spiritual growth resulting from the Chabad Club. In honor of the occasion, Danny Fordham, the outgoing president of the Chabad Club made a Siyyum HaShas, personally completing the entire Talmud Bavli.
The Chabad Club would like to thank Yeshiva Oholei Torah students, Mendel Cunin and Peretz Garelik for their tireless work in helping to arrange the “Thursday Night Chassidus Program” as well as all Yeshiva Oholei Torah students who contributed to the program.
Additionally, the Chabad Club would like to thank the Lubavitch Youth Organization for their help and support.
Please consider supporting the Chabad Club in their work to spread the wellsprings of Chassidus in Yeshiva University. Contact chabadclubyu@gmail.com for more information.
