I got a new hat, suit, and a car rental. Anything else I need to know before I go on a date?
Have you ever heard a friend say, “I wish someone told me that before I started dating?”
Were you ever taught what proper dating looks and sounds like? Does a broken engagement frighten you?
Rabbi Manis Friedman has answers to these questions! Join him for a first-of-its-kind 3-part dating course and give yourself the education you need to help you find you lifelong partner. This course is for bochurim and girls. Participation is over the phone and is anonymous to other participants.
Click here for course information. Course begins Monday night, January 13.
I agree with comment #13 plus listening on audio isn’t the same as seeing the person too while he talks..
The answers mean that there are questions. Better if there are no questions. A chosid does, without asking. The more answers there are, the more questions arise. Our forefathers did not need courses before embarking on shidduchim but these days we need “instruction manuals” for everything, with a coach, a therapist and a counsellor.
I just bought a ticket in their raffle – rabbifriedman.org/raffle to support such good work this organization does!
for those that want to take a full comprehensive, in person course check out adaiad.org
I had the same issue. Theres only one option on their website.
girls learn and hear these things all the time about the right mind set when you’re dating…..etc….and we think that guys don’t hear it at all! so all the guys out there you should listen to this course 😉
I can’t believe I didn’t think of that uber simple solution!!
Just write a book!! Viola!!
(Um, is that “not obsessing”?)
Please spend the money, it will save you tremendously in the long run. Knowing how to think, act and speak is crucial and they do not teach this in Yeshiva.
Too much about Shidduchim.
People are becoming too obsessed and I don’t think it’s productive.
Someone write a good book and these courses will not be needed.
guys wear hats on dates…..? not mine!
Installments would be a great but theres no such option on their website and no contact info there either.
and looking forward to some healthy perspective.
Ask them to pay it up over time (installments) this way it won’t hurt as much and everyone is happy. (Twenty bucks a months over five months (Thats release time payday 🙂 )
Most parents pay about $500 for Chosson and kallah classes, I’m sure this $100 investment in Rabbi Friedman is as important and crucial. Don’t hesitate to ask your parents to cover this cost as well!
Get someone to sponsor you.
It costs $ to join the shiur. It wont be broadcast on COL. That would defeat the point of the shiur, Which is to provide a paid for service.
send an email to office.rabbimanisfriedman@gmail.com and ask them
Call the number on the link.
and never got a number or info. what do i do?
Is there anyway this can be broadcasted on col?
Thank rabbi Friedman. Although I would really like to join this course, as a bocher and learning in 770 I barely have the funds for dateing and another 100 can really hurt my pocket – I hope I can get a chazorah from other bocherim joining the call
