Yossef Costa, a mashgiach for kosher agencies and a resident of Upstate New York, tragically passed away and was laid to rest in the CBAJ Cemetery in Albany, NY.
Born in Brazil, Costa was active with the Chabad and greater Jewish community of Albany. He served as the Shamash and custodian for Congregation Shomray Torah in Albany and was active in all communal affairs.
Beloved by the community, he worked in various kashrus agencies including the Chief Rabbinate of Israel for kosher meat production in Brazil as well as Kosher/Chalav Yisroel dairy production in upstate New York.
He is survived by his two young children and their mother.

We have to live with mazel, and unfortunately we have to die with mazel. Please, these children dont have an advocate for a big fancy fundraiser, please find it in your heart to give!
Please help this poor orphans! Without a father to support them, and without a family of means to take care of them, they are dependent on us! Please lets not let them down!
A truly incredible loving and warm individual.
