The Yeshivas Kayitz program in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada has recently wrapped up its three-week program.
The program aimed to bring energy and Jewish pride back to the community through Torah learning, Farbrengens, and Chavrusas with local Balei Batim and teenagers.
The Bochurim visited local hospitals and senior centers, uplifting patients and strengthening daily Minyanim in the community.
The program included a variety of activities such as a concert, visits to Shluchim in Kelowna, and a Shabbaton with Rabbi Raphael Katz in Saskatoon. The Bochurim also participated in a Sunday learn and breakfast.
The city of Edmonton has recently suffered two major losses with the closure of its only Frum school and local Kollel due to financial issues. This has resulted in many Frum families leaving the community and others sending their children to public schools. Many classes and programs have been discontinued, causing a decline in the spiritual level of the community.
The Yeshivas Kayitz program aimed to uplift the community and bring back Jewish energy and pride. Through their efforts, they were able to create an environment that enabled people to grow in their Yiddishkeit and form lasting relationships with the Bochurim. The program was a success in bringing much-needed energy and support to the community.

Keep it up Dreilichs, and all the amazing Shluchim in Alberta!!
