Mrs. Yente (Lena) Light (Liachow), mother and grandmother to a large Lubavitch family, passed away on Monday, 23 Tammuz, 5773.
She was 93.
Mrs. Light was the youngest of 5 children born to Shmuel and Breina Minkowitz, who were raised in the town of Nevel in Russia.
She was married to the late R’ Shneur Zalman Yehoshua Light, who passed away 26 Iyar, 5770.
She is survived by her children: Brenda Eber, Shmuel Light, Berel Light, and Gitty Weingarten all of Crown Heights, Rivka Rapoport of Toronto and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, many of whom are Shluchim around the world.
The Levaya will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, leaving Shomrei Hadas at 10:45 am and passing by 770 at 11:30 am.
Shiva will be held at the Weingarten residence, 1465 President St.
