Family and friends of Nosson Deitsch obm marked his 2nd yahrtzeit Wednesday night at Nosson’s Shul in Crown Heights.
Over 100 people gathered in the Shul named in his memory, recalling his unique and loving personality.
Speakers included friends of Nosson, including Dani Chitrik, Eli Sanderson, and Yehuda Geisinsky and his brother Rabbi Shaya Deitsch and brother-in-law Rabbi Mendel Wolvovsky.
Rabbi Chaim Yisroel Wilhelm, Rabbi of Nosson’s Shul, spoke as well, and a video presentation included a message from Rabbi Leibel Schapiro of Florida.

As a BT that would come to Yeshiva to Daven, Nosson would always be among the first people to help me. He would often give me a siddur with english, sometimes the siddur he was using.
His holy neshama should have an aliyah on this special day.
