The Maternity store of Crown Heights has moved to a new location on Kingston Avenue, and now has a new name to make everyone feel comfortable.
Now named ‘Totally Her,’ the store caters to all women (and girls) with Shabbos and weekday robes, adult and kids nightgowns, tichels, hats and snoods, and of course, maternity clothing as well.
Owner Chaya Pinson tells COLlive, “We started 10 years ago in our house, and a few years later moved to a basement location on Kingston Avenue. Now, four years later, we have moved to this new store to better serve our customers.”
The store also has a website, maternityandrobes.com, for customers around the world who cannot make it to the store.
During the Kinus, Shluchos are welcome to call in their orders and Shluchim can pick it up.

I’ve bought pretty much all my maternity during my trip to NY at this store. Chaya is always so patient, knows her customers and what sort of styles they will go for, never tried to push me into buying something I felt looked inappropriate.

I came in for the kinus last year and ended up in the basement just to check it out. I was greeted by a friendly face and was so impressed I bought my whole “boro park” list on the spot. Coming in from Australia and having had previous experience shopping on kingstone, I did not think I could get good service and a good choice of merchandise in CH. I have to agree with everyone. Chaya is pleasant, friendly and Honest. She has given me good advice about how something fits/looks, even if it will cost her a sale. she retains her mentchlichkeit, and gives all customers attention, unfortunately unlike a lot of other stores on Kingston . As a shlucha living far, it’s a pleasure to call Chaya.
Always kind and generous – she is the only store I know of that will send a HUGE bag of clothes overseas, with all different sizes and without any payment first.
Whatever fits I’ll keep, and whatever doesn’t – send back a few weeks later… Only then will she charge. No fuss abou what I didn’t keep.
She is very special.
