Vacation CH, Machon Chana’s summer learning program for Lubavitch women in the Brooklyn area, is returning July 10th for another season of fascinating classes and useful workshops.
Before creating the learning program, Vacation CH posted a survey on COLlive.com earlier this month asking women for their input.
According to the survey results, the top subjects of interest were:
1. Human communication and interaction (88%)
2. Laws of Shabbos (78%)
3. Chinuch of toddlers (61%)
4. Tanya (82%)
5. Home management (58%)
6. Yiddish (47%)
Based on these numerous enthusiastic responses, Vacation CH is creating the perfect summer schedule of study and fun right here in the neighborhood.
Some highlights of this year’s upcoming program include Sholom Bayis classes for couples with Rabbi Daniel Schonbuch, MA, and Moti Ziglbaum MA, LMHC.
Chinuch classes will be given by Rabbi Levke Kaplan, Yiddish classes with Mrs. Chanie Brod, Hilchos Shabbos with Rabbi Yossi Braun, Tefillah with Mrs. Sara Lieberman, organizational management with Mrs. Libby Chein, budgeting with Mrs. Shaina Charter, and makeup tips with Mrs. Henya Holzberg.
“So many women have told me they’re waiting for Vacation CH,” dounder and director Mrs. Sara Labkowski enthusiastically shared. “I’m excited to offer it again and looking forward to a summer of growth.”
Held at The Bayit at 556 Crown Street (upstairs), it will take place Sunday through Thursday, mornings and evenings, as well as stimulating programs on Shabbos afternoon.
The program is geared for women in all stages of life, and there is a diverse schedule of topics being covered throughout the summer.
Classes will run for six weeks, from Sunday, July 10 through Thursday, August 18, so grab a calendar and start marking down the classes you would like to join!
There will be a $7.00 charge per class. Special rates available for joining a full series. Scholarships also available. Email VacationCH@gmail.com with questions, comments, and to reserve your spot.
