BH they were not hurt. What building is this?
From the photos, it seems either 455 Schenectady Avenue or 456 Schenectady Avenue.
Both are known drug crime buildings which adds 0 good to this neighborhood.
And sadly/dangerously a shooting about once a month on this block.
They are basically homeless shelters that look like “Regular” building from the outside.
The tenants don’t pay rent, NYC pays their rent from your tax dollars.
Ironically, although not connected to this perp. This incident happened outside of 712 Crown Street which is infamously known as one of the worst buildings in Crown Heights.
Anyone that lives within a block radius knows not only never to walk past this shooting building by night, but as well never to walk past it by day.
What building is that? It looks like from the pics it’s 455 Schenectady (correct me if I’m wrong)
455 Schenectady Ave is a known troublemaker building, currently parked in front of this building is multiple vehicles with fraudulent counterfeit paper plates which those vehicles are consistently used in crimes.
If anyone has any “pull” with the 71st Pct if you can ask them to tow away all these counterfeit paper plate vehicles on Schenectady between Lefferts and East New York Aves.
On this block 456 Schenectady Ave right across the street, as seen in the pics. Also has fake temp tags on cars parked in front.
They never get ticketed because it’s fake temp license plate.
When can area residents that are concerned about the gangsters and drug dealers recklessly driving these cars, when can we expect those illegal cars to get booted and towed?
Except for 3 Schenectady buildings which are owned by amazing Lubavitchers that love the Rebbes Shchuneh, and have their fellow Lubavitchers as tenants renting their apartments.
(Ppl in the know, should really thank these Lubavitchers)
Most of Schenectady corner buildings from EP till Rutland is basically your typical pre war old building from the outside, but in the inside is city funded homeless and rikers rap sheet tenants. Basically gangsta homeless shelters in disguise.
Schenectady from Rutland and further south is even worse. NYC trying to building a bunch of straight up homeless shelters.
Follow the money and you’ll see who does what those that help don’t run after money
It seems everyone is aware of the criminal activity coming out of these buildings . Why can’t the criminal justice system finally decide to teach them a lesson and give the criminals coming out of those places SERIOUS jail sentences if they keep committing crimes? Beside getting them off the streets it might make their criminal friends think twice before committing crimes in this neighborhood again. I’m pretty sure there are good numbers of our decent black neighbors who would also support such action.
I pay rent out of pocket. I also make 200K yearly. So no , not all these buildings are funded by the city. The landlord of this building should do his due diligence to fix doors and corridors so they are not hand out spots. Most the people that hand in these buildings don’t live in em. I promise you.
