Recently Chabad Lubavitch of W Brighton Beach and Manhattan Beach held a Wine and Liquor Tasting – Celebrating Jewish Pride. Many young Russian-American professionals from the Manhattan Beach and Brighton Beach communities attended.
“The Rebbe Rashab told the previous Rebbe in a dream you have a light shining in your home, he was referring to the Rebbe. The Rebbe is our “shining light”, the light that gives us direction and inspiration,” said Rabbi Avrohom Winner, Shliach to Manhattan Beach.
“We must not ask ‘why’, we must ask ‘what’. What are we doing to strengthen our commitment to G-d and his Torah? The Rebbe encouraged us that we must expand especially when tragedy occurs,” said Rabbi Zushe Winner – Shliach of the Brighton Beach Area.
The lavish buffet dinner and the abundance of Kosher wines and liquors kept the guests there for a great evening of celebration.
