Israel’s Education Minister Yifat Shasha-Biton hosted a small ceremony to present awards to the “Counselors of the Year” of the Bat Melech organization, a division of the Chabad Youth movement in Israel.
It’s the 4th year that the organization selected the most outstanding counselors from the group of girls who volunteer their time helping younger girls and campers.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister noticed that only 1 of the counselors showed up. “Where’s the second one?” she asked.
The organizers explained that she wasn’t allowed into the Knesset building as the Israeli parliament now requires proof of vaccination against Covid-19.
The second counselor does not own a smartphone and couldn’t produce the electronic ‘Green card’ that is given once a citizen is inoculated.
The Minister heard and started the meeting during which he heard from the organization’s heads Yair Borochov and Mrs. Chaya Vallas. They thanked Chagai Gross and other officials of the Education ministry for their partnership.
When the meeting concluded, the Minister surprised the participants by notifying them that she is going to meet the second outstanding counselor who was still waiting outside the Knesset.
Minister Shasha-Biton indeed went to the entrance of the Knesset campus, where a Menorah stands, and presented the award to the second counselor praising her for her dedication and ideals.

She is one of only a couple of Israeli legislators fighting against Wuhan virus medical totalitarianism.
