A child once took the Rebbe’s hand, thinking it was his father’s. The Rebbe held his hand and continued walking with him. Still not realizing his mistake, the child took the Rebbe’s kappota and wiped his face with it.
When she heard the story, the child’s mother was horrified and penned an apology to the Rebbe, stating that she was “pained” by what had happened.
Near the word pained, the Rebbe wrote “?!”

“You should raise him and all of your children to Torah, marriage, and good deeds…”

Eli.
I find it many times when the editors try to find an applicable photo to match the article/story. And rightfully so.
However most times it would say “photo is for illustrational purposes only – or the like.
Yes who ever sees the photo may seem that it was your son that the story happened to.
R’ Eli you should have much and many nachos from all your children and grand children. A gut Gebentchte Yor

The photo of the Rebbe putting Tzedakah in my son’s Zaman Shimon Blachmans pushka is a photo taken by me. My wife Sarah Sheindel is holding Zalman Shimon
This photo was taken when the Rebbe had a campaign that every child have a Pushka in their room and everyone came with the kids and pushka to the Rebbe arround Rosh Chodesh Adar תשמ”ז
Since this photo is used very often on your site by many people. I wanted to set the record straight about the photo
Wishing everyone a Kesiva VaChasima Tova
