We are reaching out to you for assistance as the following situation has been brought to our attention.
A family of the Rebbe’s Shluchim is currently experiencing a great challenge. Their 13-year-old son is living with the severe physical impairment of Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. This condition requires him to use a specialized, wheelchair accessible van with a built-in lift any time he needs to be transported. Otherwise, he is not able to leave his home.
Yaldei Shluchei Harebbe was able to help this family in the past by assisting them in purchasing an accessible van with a manual lift. However, years have passed and that van is no longer in working condition. Yaldei does not leave its families in distress. We are here once again to ask for your gracious assistance on behalf of a vibrant young boy.
The cost of this used van with an automatic lift is approximately $30,000. We have already put down a deposit of $10,000 and have another $10,000 committed thanks to a generous donor. We are left with the final balance of $10,000
