This week, The Wexner Foundation introduced its inaugural cohort of the Wexner Field Fellowship, the organization’s newest leadership program developed in partnership with the Jim Joseph Foundation.
Yocheved Sidof, Founding Executive Director of Lamplighters Yeshivah in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, was selected as one of 15 Jewish professionals for the cohort.
The decision came after a rigorous application process from a pool of hundreds of qualified, Jewish professionals across the country.
Sidof is the only Chassidic person in the inaugural Field Fellowship cohort and part of only a small handful of Lubavitchers have been selected to join The Wexner Foundation programs since its inception.
The Wexner Field Fellowship is a 3-year intensive professional development program. Together with their cohort of Jewish professionals from across North America, Wexner Field Fellows will grow as Jewish professionals, deepen their leadership skills, and develop a rich community of colleagues becoming part of The Wexner Foundation’s network of professional and volunteer leaders in North America and Israel.
The fellowship provides opportunities for professional growth to promising Jewish professionals who plan to continue to pursue a career as a professional leader in the North American Jewish community.
“The fellowship will last for 3 years and will, with Hashem’s help, open many doors for continued growth and development for myself and my work at Lamplighters Yeshivah,” Sidof said.
