After meeting with Israeli and Palestinian leaders this week, Brooklyn Rep. Anthony Weiner said he will call for a suspension of U.S. aid to the Palestinians until they return to peace talks with Israel.
“I think we need a better handle on what we’re trying to achieve with our tax dollars,” said Weiner in a conference call from Jerusalem with reporters.
“We have been trying to prop up Abu Mazen when, in fact, a large number of Palestinians, if not, the majority support Hamas. We’ve been leading with our heart rather than our head.”
Abu Mazen is the nom de guerre of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
Weiner said he was convinced that Israel is ready to resume peace talks but does not have a partner. Holding back the aid, he suggested, could break the impasse.

They aren’t peace talks anyway. They are piece talks – and the Rebbe told us clearly we shouldn’t even be talking giving away any pieces of Eretz HaKoidesh. Better the Palestinian Arabs should have the money and not talk.
So the PLO needs $$$ so they return to the table .. leave 1 day later and blame Israel… and they get their $$$. Weiner is trying to boost the Jewish Vote with ridiculous ideas. Drop your Muslim GF and we will respect you more.
