Yagdil Torah is organizing a seminar Wednesday for the Lubavitch community in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights about dealing with death and tragedies.
Titled “Tragedies in our Midst – The Yiddishe Response,” it will explore how the individual and community are meant to respond in the face of tragedy.
The three speakers are Rabbi Ahron Dovid Gancz of Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch in Morristown, NJ; Rabbi Yisroel Deren, Director of Chabad of Fairfield County, CT; and Rabbi Bentzion Krasniasnky, Director of Chabad of Upper East Side in New York.
It will be held January 20 (5 Shvat) at Beis Rivka Campus Chomesh, 470 Lefferts Avenue, starting 8:00 pm.
Sponsored by Yerachmiel and Rivka Leah Jacobson in honor of those torn from our midst.
Men and Women are welcome. Suggested Donation: $5
Every human being is important but the loss of the good one is a disaster. My feelings and thoughts are with you. My gratefulness, respect and admiration go to all the good people that give hope and help showing the most human, and a kind of universal way of getting over the pain, loss, hopelessness and despair of the common’s and each individual’s suffering. It is good and helpful to hear (and know) that it is never too late and that the hope is alive.
Rabbi Browd’s success stems from bringing individuals TOGETHER in a POSITIVE forum.
