Chabad of Mineola announced today it will hold a webcast to discuss ‘Joe the Plumber’ and the ‘US Airways Miracle on the Hudson’ on Jan. 20, 2009 at 8 p.m. EST.
Rabbi Anchelle Perl, Director of Cong. Beth Sholom Chabad of Mineola, will host the estimated one-hour webcast, which takes place weekly on Tuesday evenings.
“Our weekly webcasts help people take time out of a busy workweek, in the comfort of their home or office, and explore their Judaism, by looking more deeply into current world events,” said Rabbi Perl.
Professionals, students and homemakers of every age and background use the Webcasts to study, to discuss, to analyze and discover inspiration during these challenging times, he says.
Participants should log onto the Chabad web site www.chabadmineola.com 10 minutes prior to the broadcast, then click on the icon for “Click Here to Enter Class” and follow the instructions.
