Yes, of course it is a natural thing for a father to rush to his son in the emergency room, but that’s exactly the point- his tremendous love for his son played out in that he didn’t waste even a moment to get to his son’s side, not even to get dressed. It’s a beautiful thing to be able to learn something from such a positive thing- expressing true, pure love unashamedly.

The boy’s father didnt have a “pyjama moment”. He did the most natural thing that anyone would do for a close one. that’s not called mesiras nefesh. I think he missed the point.
