The Jewish Life Television network (JLTV) recently launched a new show titled “Friends of Chabad” which it describes as “a powerful new program.”
It is hosted by Academy Award-winning actor and Chabad Telethon regular Jon Voight, film producer and screenwriter Steven Paul, and the brothers Rabbi Chaim Nachum Cunin of Chabad West Coast Headquarters and Rabbi Levi Cunin of Chabad of Malibu.
Premiering on Monday nights, the show is “an entertaining, funny, and spiritual adventure to Chabads all around the world. You will laugh, dance, and learn along the way,” JLTV said.
Each episode is under 25 minutes. The first was titled “What is Chabad?”, while the second one focused on the “Stolen Books of the Rebbe,” referring to the Schneerson Archive that was nationalized by Russia and has yet to be returned to Lubavitch World Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, NY.
The Cunins together with their father, Rabbi Shlomo Cunin, Head Shliach of California and member of Agudas Chasidei Chabad of Russia, continue to lead a legal and diplomatic battle against the Russia government to release the books and manuscripts.
