Dr. Michael Rubin, M.D., C.M., is Director of the Neuromuscular Service at Weill Cornell Medical Center, Director of the Electromyography Laboratory at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and Professor of Clinical Neurology at Weill Cornell Medical College.
He spoke emotionally about R’ Mendel Brikman:
I have known Mendel since he was a Bochur. A few days after his passing I had a dream (caveat: it was a dream…) and I saw Mendel, and I was surprised to see how well he looked, he looked young and healthy and very happy. Dr Menachem Rubin is originally from Montreal he graduated from the Lubavitcher Yeshiva in 1973 and went to camp Gan Israel in Montreal for years and also was a lifeguard as a staff member

Like all the live events, the video never does them complete justice. It was a very special evening, you could hear a pin drop and the place was packed. a well deserved tribute to a man with real old-school chasidic conviction, deep sensitivity for anyone who came into his orbit and outstanding courage.
