The point is to bring people together! For home learning you have 1000’s of audio classes and videos on Chabad.org. This is not rocket science. By-the-way, at Hakhel . . . they all had to GO to the Beit Hamikdash. And this is the point of the article too. Re-read paragraph 3.

While the idea of having gatherings during Hakhel definitely makes sense and was promoted by the Rebbe, nontheless if more people could hav eheard it and SURELY would have if it wa sbroadcast – why not?
What would the Rebbe say?
Deprive Jews of being inspired because of Hakhel ? Huh? Totally contrary to the whole purpose of Hakhel.
