The Tzanzer Rebbe came yesterday (Monday) to be menachem avel the Rosenberg family in Afula, for a 40 minute visit. According to those who are close to the Rebbe, the visit was “out of the ordinary.” He was accompanied by his son and meshamshim.
“Since the Rebbe heard the terrible news 10 days ago, he is in aveilus” said one of his chassidim to COLLive.
The Rebbe davened mincha by the amud, and unlike the usual half hour, this week the davening took an hour.
After maariv, the Rebbe said that he is not going to have the ‘Tish’ this shabbos. “How can we set a table when Yidden on the other side of the globe are suffering?” he asked.
Only after the meshamshim kept asking, he agreed to a very small ‘Tish.’
Throughout the ‘Tish’ he spoke a few times about the situation, and said, “Only when Moshiach comes will see that everything was for the good and now we have to become stronger and accept everything with love.”
When he got to the words “Vezakeinu Lekabel Shabassos” the Rebbe repeated it 7 times, while crying.
The Tzanzer chosid who was accompanying his Rebbe said, “I can’t recall when I ever experienced such a special ‘Tish’.”
“In all his meetings with different people, he spoke about the attack on the Chabad House in Mumbai,” he related. “The Rebbe praised Chabad’s work throughout the world. When the Rebbe used to travel with his father, he was always helped by the local shluchim.
The current Tzanzer Rebbe is the son of K”K Harav Hagaon Hakadosh Harav Yekutiel-Yehuda Halberstam ZT”L who passed away on the 9th of Tamuz 5754. He had a special relationship with the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
Today, early in the afternoon, he arrived at the Rosenberg residence. With tear-filled eyes, he asked to hear first-hand from the family members of what they saw in the Chabad House in Mumbai. Afterwords he said some comforting words to the mourners.
“It says ‘Chazaka al Shliach Sheoshe Shlichuto’,” said the Rebbe. “This holy couple surely did their shlichus and will continue their shlichus in heaven -and beg for the redemption by the Ribono Shel Olam.”
He added, “The fact that the victims were from all types of Jews, and the fact that it happend on the other side of the world, comes to show us that we need to add in achdus.”
Following the words from the Rebbe, the family wanted to bring the sefer Torah that was damaged in the massacre to him, but the Rebbe did not let – he wanted to go himself to the house to see it.
Later he traveled to the other families of the victims throughout Israel to be menachem avel.
I would love to see the Torah. I despise the terrosrists, and want them all massacered. I think eceryone in the whole world needs to see this Torah. We need to know taht we have a radical enemy that are being taught violence and murder, and everyone need to know!

What do you have against the Tzanzers achdus?
What is so exciting about that hole that they keep it there without putting it in Shaimos? Everyone can see that there are at least 3 pages ripped.The middle,right and left. And possibly even more under the first layer. It is also obvious that the rip they are showing is a few pesukim into achare mos and not the first few lines.These people are kedoshim without this too!
