Acclaimed television director Kevin Bright, producer and creator of the ‘Friends’ series, spent the 7th night of Chanukah bringing light and happiness to wounded soldiers of the IDF.
About 25 soldiers who were wounded in the recent wars in Gaza and the second Lebenon war, came to a special Chanukah party organized by Chabad Terror Victims Project for them and their family members.
Many of the injured are still in rehabilitation as a result of the severe injuries they incurred. Chabad’s Rabbi Aron Prus and Rabbi Yossi Swerdlov remain in close contact with these young heroes from the moment of injury throughout their rehabilitation process.
Kevin was honored with the kindling of the Chanukah candles together with Ben Spitzer who was seriously wounded in an operation in Gaza. After the kindling Kevin told the soldiers how honored he felt to be in their company and how much their sacrifice means to Jews everywhere.
The soldiers were hosted and entertained by Chabad Terror Victims Project staff along with Rabbi Asi Spiegel who led the crowd in singing Chanukah and other songs along with beautiful and uplifting stories.
Beautiful! Keep up the great work!
