Yeshiva Temimei Darech, situated in Tsfat for nearly 15 years, has been instilling young Jewish souls with a Torah lifestyle and a full spectrum of Torah learning. Often, students enter the yeshiva with little knowledge, yet leave having mastered, gemara, halacha, chassidut, and life skills to move them toward a beautiful life of Torah study and mitzvoth. Many of the students stay on to complete their smicha studies for full rabbinic ordination and remain in Tsfat, marry, raise a family and continue to enrich the yeshiva community as well as the Tsfat community at large.
Less than a year after moving to upgraded accommodations where the bochurim reside in a more beautiful and comfortable space, the institution has delivered on its vision of filling to capacity with quality, dedicated students.
“After a year of great success and growth, even in the midst of a war, we will pursue our vision of increasing the number of bochurim in a highly spiritual and academic environment. With the help of 10 student scholarships we hope to enrich the yeshiva even more,” said Rabbi Shalom Pasternak, who founded the yeshiva in 2009 as the only Torah learning institution in northern Israel catering mostly to English-speaking ba’alei teshuva. “It’s beautiful to witness. The bochurim are learning in a way in which their lives and the life of Am Yisroel will benefit. We’ve changed the focus of our yeshiva trips to include visiting army bases with the intent of helping to raise morale by adding the element of kedusha to the soldiers at area bases. We’ve brought tefillin, chumashim, tefillah and of course food to our heroes. An amazing and heart-warming experience for the bochurim and soldiers alike.”
With the constant roaring of the IAF planes overhead and intermittent booms from missiles and the iron dome interceptions, the intensity of learning was evident in the popular Gemara shiur of Rabbi Shmuel Kopel, Director of the Learning Program. Watching the captivated bochurim, unaware of the activity outside, it was obvious that they were totally absorbed with their studies. This intensity of learning is evident in all of the classes. Yeshiva Temimei Darech has raised the bar for all yeshivas.
A fundraising campaign is set to launch 7 Adar II, March 17th. The monies raised will be used to support student scholarships, add more staff and teachers, and expand the residential space.

This is so true, the bochurim are nurtured with chasidishe love, patience and compassion, they are inspired by example as the Rabbanim really walk the talk. They build bochurim up and give them gift of realizing that chassidishe lifestyle would enable them to live with joy and passion, making this world a dwelling place for Hashem.
