N’shei Chabad Toronto gathered for a Melava Malka at 770 Chabad Gate in honor of Rosh Chodesh Kislev.
The evening was dedicated to Lea Lazar obm on her first yahrtzeit, by her friends and family.
The event was chaired by Ahava Spillman and Ariella Golberg and Alisa Hershkop performed a Chassidic music interlude.
Ronen Lazar spoke about his mother’s traits of Gevurah and Chessed.
The guest speaker was Aydele Vechter, who spoke about “Yom Shekulo Shabbos” and connected Shabbos with Rosh Chodesh Kislev.
Each table was individually decorated by groups of women in the theme of Shabbos. The achdus and creativity were truly felt. A delicious milchig buffet was served.

What a wonderful evening in honor of Leah Lazar. who was a wonderful person dedicated to the whole community and a true Baales Chesed. The theme of the evening was Shabbos which Leah loved .
