Following an uplifting event for the families of the hostages who joined a special trip from Israel to New York to visit the Ohel, the central Rosh Chodesh Kislev Farbrengen took place at the Ohel.
Originally scheduled to commence at 9:30 pm, the Farbrengen was delayed to accommodate the group, and ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for the families, many visiting the Ohel for the first time. Eventually, the Farbrengen began close to 1 o’clock in the morning, with many Bochurim, Anash, and Shluchim in attendance.
The Farbrengen was addressed by Rabbi Mendy Cohen of Sacramento, California, Rabbi Kasriel Shemtov of West Bloomfield, MI, Rabbi Asi Speigel of Tzfas, Israel, Rabbi Yosef Greenberg of Anchorage, AK.
