The Duchan family of Crown Heights welcomed a new Torah written in memory of their mother, Mrs. Rachel Duchan obm Monday.
Mrs. Duchan tragically passed away 26 years ago after childbirth, and her 8 children sponsored the writing of a new Torah in her memory.
The final letters were written at 770 Eastern Parkway, and the Torah was marched with live music and dancing to Oihel Nosson shul at 580 Crown St, where Hakafos were held.
