A large crowd of men and women from the Crown Heights community gathered this past Thursday night on the eve of 19 Shvat, Feb. 13, for an hour and a half for An Evening of Learning, in honor of the upcoming 32nd Yahrtzeit of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka נ״ע זי״ע, on Chof Beis Shvat 5780.

The program featured a fascinating text-based study with world-renowned Maggid Shiur Rabbi Y.Y. Paltiel on the מאמר בלע המות לנצח – To Live Forever, which was published for the conclusion of the Shloshim of the Rebbetzin.
“The Evening of Learning was an unprecedented and real Kavod to the Rebbe, Rebbetzin and to ourselves,” says Menachem Benchemon. “In tribute to our Rebbetzin, we gathered together, in accordance with the Rebbe’s personal request, to learn Torah, the Rebbe’s Torah, on the theme of Moshiach and Geulah, in Berabim and in unity, and to bring a true honor to Beis Rabeinu, 770.”
“In Honor of the upcoming Yahrtzeit, it is suggested everyone adds in their Torah learning and observance of Mitzvos in the zechus of the Rebbetzin” says Menachem.
