ESther dear- thank yor for sharing this marvelous story about Uncle Shabsi AH…He was indeed a tzaddik of a man- proud jew, proud of his familial legacy, etc… It was an honor to meet him and Rebecca AH when we visited melbourne!! May they both be gute betteren for all of us klall yisroe….thank you again for sharing..

When my uncle and his brothers were taken by the nazis yemach shmom vzichrom. The last words his father Reb Leizer Kornwasser Hyd told them was ‘zolts blaben Yidden’ BH he did During all the years in the camps he never ate chometz on Pesach except on the death march on his way to Buchenwald when he said he had no choice.
