The Rebbe: Is Your Wife Here?

Vaad Hatmimim’s expanded issue of the Chassidishe Derher includes an interview with Rabbi Nachman Sudak, a short biography of Reb Chatche Feigin, the secretary of the Friediker Rebbe and an overview of the Rebbe being Mesader Kidushin.

Now for the 6th time, an expanded issue of the Derher has been released and sent to Lubavitcher Yeshivos around the world in time for the Chassidisher month of Kislev.

“It’s a month filled with Chassidisher Yomim Tovim,” the editors said, “a most opportune time to inspire our readership with authentic Chassidisher content.”

The bi-monthly magazine, now being published in its first anniversary edition, is in addition to the Weekly Derher newsletter (ongoing for two years now) sent to a by-subscription email list and to Yeshivos across the globe.

The full-color, 48 page magazine includes more than 15 articles spanning over various topics of interest, including a treatise by the Rebbe’s chief “Choizer,” Reb Yoel Kahn on studying Chassidus.

It also features “Behind the Picture,” authored by Rabbi Dovid Zaklikowski, director of (Lubavitch Archives), which tells the story behind a picture or series of pictures of the Rebbe.

It dissects several sentences from a conversation with the Rebbe in middle of a Farbrengen, into a 3-page article uncovering the meaning behind the Rebbe’s cryptic statements, that at the time were understood by Mr. Robert Abrams, then Borough President of the Bronx and future Attorney General of New York.
