Is your community getting ready to mark the 40th Siyum Harambam? Are you looking for something to make the event extra special? This article is for you:
A few weeks ago, we reported on the soon-to-be published Sefer Otzar Hamelech, a groundbreaking work compiling all of the Rebbe’s explanations on Rambam.
The article generated a tremendous amount of constructive, positive feedback. Rabbi Yossi Lipskier, the author of the Sefer, shared with COLlive:
“I was getting emails from all over the world. People were sending in obscure references scattered throughout the Rebbe’s Torah, that may have been missed in the research, while prominent Rabbonim and Shluchim shared insightful comments on the style of the Sefer.”
This pleasant surprise, coupled with other technical considerations, led Rabbi Lipskier and his team of editors to reflect and consider some new ideas for the final publication of the Sefer.
“But although the final product won’t be ready for the Siyum,” said Rabbi Lipskier, “we still wanted everyone to get a taste of what’s to come, so we printed a preview edition, covering the first two Seforim of Rambam, Mada and Ahavah.
“We want to give as many people access to this wonderful work as possible. To that end, we’re working closely with a number of communities across the US, who are arranging to give out this Kovetz as a Teshura/Memento at their local Siyum Harambam. It will also be available at the grand Siyum in front of 770 on Sunday night.
Quantity is limited. If you would like your community or Yeshiva to receive copies of this Kovetz in time for the Siyum, please WhatsApp +1818-826-0851

Beautiful.
But how is this different from Rav Elituv’s Pardes Hamelech Rambam?
