Rabbi Mendel Jacobs, Director of Outreach Programs at Lubavitch of Scotland, has paid another house call to a local Jew.
Although an important deed, the visit would not have made news if not for the person on the receiving end.
Mr. Samuel Latter, a Jewish resident of Edinburgh, Scotland, was marking his 106th birthday in good health.
On that day Latter also secured for himself the title of Scotland’s oldest man.
Rabbi Jacobs put on Tefillin with him and brought him good wishes of Mazel Tov on this wonderful occasion.
