thank you Rabbi Shimon Aisenbach, for arranging and bringing Rabbi Korobkin to the Dinner. It clearly made an impression and a Kiddush Lubavich.

Fine, the point is that we have direction from the Director, and that takes our attention to Him and the eternal Covenant of mitzvot, rather than off of Him and onto irrationalisms and imaginations like trying to define orthodoxy. We have enough to do and we know what to do when we simply connect to HaShrm through that holy Shliach, the Rebbe, who HaShem has given to us as our leader, and the Rebbe is a reliable, faithful, trustworthy leader and will not fail. Don’t worry, Rabbi Daniel, you too can be a chosid, and bring all of Clarke and… Read more »

Dear Rabbi Korobkin,
Thanks so much for your beautiful sincere words.
Thanks for reminding those of us born and bred in
Lubavitch – “Ashreinu Ma Tov Chelkeinu” and never to take any of this precious legacy for granted…
May your next dance (“like a chassid”) be to greet Moshiach Tzidkeinu NOW!

This Rabbi will be conducting a Huppa ceremony in less then 2 week between a Kohen and a Divorcee…. Maybe he will use some of the Kinut Hashluchim inspiration…to refuse being a conduit to such a fundamental error

Yes, your colleagues miss the point

I am a chassidic woman who finds the push by some women for the rabbinate to be misguided and offensive. They are copying the Conservative movement. Abrogating millenia of mesora in the name of equality…misunderstanding and thumbing noses at the masora process and conclusions…

Thank you

you missed the point. he’s saying not that we accept women rabbis, but they are complete non issues. Muphrach completely, and no one is complaining, because we are invloved in so many other POSITIVE things

even if I can’t be one

Very nice article. Nice to hear that not everyone is sleeping. But this Rabbi is a bit off: ” I know that there’s something important about defining ourselves. It’s about preserving halakhah, our mesorah, and about defining which faith dogma are necessary to count one as part of the Torah community. Ultimately, it’s about making sure that we preserve Orthodoxy faithfully for the next generation.” That’s a seriously strange question– the litvish and the chasidish are also beyond it. Orthodox Judiasm isn’t in need of preservation nor are orthodox Jews in need of definition. Once you ask that question, you’ve… Read more »

WHAT A SILLY ARGUMENT. IT MAKES OUTR AS IF CHABAD IS OPEN AND TOLERANT WHEN THE MESORAH WAS EVERYTHING TO THE REBBE. THE KINUS ISNT ABOUT THAT, IS ALL.

Gorgeous
