I was zoche to eat supper almost every night when I was learning in ocean parkway in the early 80”s He and his rebetzin Thelma levy May she be well were my out of town parents He was always nice to me me as our off downer with zero family in ch They treated me like a Ben bayis and family member He would ask us questions in learning and always told us stories of his travels around the world and his interactions with the rebbe and other gedolim I still remember him telling after the rebbe said to have… Read more »

Rabbi Levy visited the students of Machon Alte in Safed, Israel back in 1982. His lecture and the fact that he took the time to address our school of 17 female Baal tshuvah students left a warm impression on the students. We felt the energy and passion Rabbi Levy had for kashrut which has remained with us through our lives.
