Kiryat Malachi’s recently appointed Chief Rabbi Yitzchok Yehuda Yaroslavky has traveled to southeast Asian country of Singapore to add more rabbis in the world.
The rabbi met with 5 Chabad bochurim learning in the local Smicha Program which is directed by Shliach Rabbi Mordechai Abgergel. The program is led by Rabbi Netanel Moshe Rivni.
Testing them on the final subject – the laws of isur and heter, Rabbi Yaroslavky said he was impressed by their knowledge and moved to sign their smicha ordination document.
The new rabbis have spent the year learning and working with the local Jewish community, putting their knowledge into practice.
Congratulations, it is nice to see the program continues to flourish. Send my best to Ralph and Joe B.
