Tanks line up for Parade

Fifty-nine Mitzvah 'Tanks', corresponding to the years of the Rebbe’s leadership since 5710/1950, are being lined up on President Street in Crown Heights in preparation for Thursday's parade. They will depart from 770 Eastern Parkway at 10:30 am and ride into Manhattan. Photos

#2 – huh? what does that story have to do with the price of tea in china? What do you not like about the tanks?
And #9 – same to you – what do you mean why is there being a parade??? i think its amazing to have so many tanks – congrats Mordy Hirsh on doing such a wonderful job organizing them!

i want to know why they need 59 tanks to go paraking down manhatten! and why is there being a parade in the first place? i think that it woulf be more ehrliche to have less tanks ! do you people out there even know how much is 59 tanks? i think that its just out of the realm of normalicy!!!!!!!!

I think he is saying that when the Misnagid was yelling at the Alte Rebbe, he was really yelling, that the changes that Chabad is making in Yehadus, will eventually give birth to a Moshiachistin movement.

When the Alte Rebbe was released from prison, he, erroneously, first went into a misnaged’s home. The Misnaged started criticizing him in an angry way. He told him that we have such a rich spiritual past, our great Rishonim and Achronim, why would you want to introduce new concepts and ideas that our past leaders never even heard of.
