While learning is dear and beautiful, there is something just as pressing and urgent in Crown Heights: Ahavat Yisroel. While there are many just and friendly storeowners in Crown Heights, I’ve had two negative experiences in Crown Heights with storeowners in the past 3 years. In one case the storeowner (Whom I’ve known 25 years and is from a well-known family.) erred in a price by $0.50 over the phone.
