Students from the Oholei Torah boys school in Crown Heights are busy preparing for Yud Shevat, the day the Rebbe’s acceped the leadership of Chabad-Lubavitch, by learning basi legani and all the minhagim of the day.
All the classes will have their time at the Ohel, but one class in particular prepared in a most unique way.
Talmidim from Rabbi Yossi Goldstein‘s class took turns in reciting the maamar “Bosi Legani.” Every talmid had the chance to be chazzan reading on his own from inside the sefer.
The children knew how to act accordingly – doing all the minhogim, knocking on the door before going in etc. The behavior of the students was exceptionally well and having the proper derech eretz.
The trips to the Ohel are being coordinated with the principals of the various yeshiva divisions and Ohel offices.
i was at the ohel at precisely this time and was extremely inspired by these sweet neshomalch….. one little yingeleh recited part of the maamer baal peh. True nachas!!

You share a name wih a Big Mechanech who did the samething many years ago who started teaching children about the Maamorim and Rabeim he also stated the Children’s Minyan many cities have copied this childrens minyan like Reb Mendel Duchman in LA
He himself was a member of the childrens minyan run by R Uncle Yossi Goldstein and today he runs this same minyan .
