On Tuesday night over 200 people attended an event in tribute to Rabbi Avrohom Levitansky, in Sydney Australia.
The event was coordinated by his daughters Rivky Shuchat and Mushka Levitansky, who are on shlichus at South Head Synagogue under the leadership of Rabbi Milecki.
The event brought together mostly people who had never known Rabbi Levitansky. The event featured an introduction and inspiring words by Rabbi Milecki, Tehillim by Rabbi Yossi Shuchat, memories by Rivky Shuchat and a slideshow entitled “Timeless Moments” by Mushka Levitansky. At the end people joined for refreshments and L’chaim.
A special children’s library initiative was announced at the event in memory of Rabbi Levitansky.

Indeed, after hearing a drop in the bucket of the amazing work of Rabbi Levitanski ZATZ”AL and what a giant amongst men that he was, I am shocked that a major article was not issued on this amazing website about him??
