At an emotional and meaningful event, the Beit Menachem Chabad Center in Alto de Pinheiros, Brazil, directed by Shluchim Eliyahu and Rivky Rosenfeld, celebrated the inauguration of the synagogue’s new space.
The event was attended by more than 450 people, including community leaders and prominent rabbis, who gathered to witness this historic moment, celebrating the center’s growth and evolution.
The new space features a four-story building that includes a variety of essential amenities. Highlights of the new space include a new mikva, a fully equipped industrial kitchen, new classrooms, a hall for events as well as a beautiful rooftop.
“Since the construction of the first building seven years ago, Beit Menachem has been a central point of growth and unity for the local community,” said Rabbi Rosenfeld. “Baruch Hashem, with the increase of new families and students in the Hebrew School, the original building quickly became too small to meet the needs of the community.
“The community recognized the importance of expanding its facilities and with great effort came together to make this new dream come true,” he said.
The dedication of the new space represents not only a structural milestone, but also a symbol of Beit Menachem’s results and ongoing commitment to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members of the community – like a real home.
