On Thursday a lecture took place in Jerusalem by Rabbi Adin Even-Israel Shteinzalts. The monthly lecture, organized by Rabbi Tzvi Hersh Ruderman, was moved from the usual location of Heichal Menachem to a larger venue, to accommodate more people, and so that women could also attend.
Rabbi Shmuel Braun of Jerusalem gave the opening remarks. Then moving to the topic of Yud Shevat to Tu B’Shevat, Rabbi Steinsaltz spoke about the Lubavitcher Rebbe, as a father, a Rebbe and a Rav to his Chassidim who was deeply involved and connected with his Chassidim. He described how the Rebbe once sent him a letter of advice before he had even asked for it.
