“Our Chabad Israeli Center touches the lives of countless families in so many ways,” said Scott Maurer, dinner chairman, “from daily prayer services and holidays, to Mezuzahs, from weekly Torah classes, to weekly hospital visits for the sick, from naming daughters at an Aliyah and providing Mohel services at a Brit Milah, to funeral and mourning services, from charity drives for the needy, to education scholarships. Our Chabad Center does an amazing array of good works.”
A beautiful souvenir journal was distributed and all the guests received a special gift, a box of 3 handmade Shmura Matza to be used for the Pesach Seder.
The party was well attended by the community and it was beautiful occasion that saluted the center’s past activities while setting goals and objectives for the future to reach more Jews in the community, encouraging them to connect with Hashem, Judaism and the Torah.
